My Skin Is Thin
Scroll down ↓
In the installation My Skin Is Thin, composed of nine fragments, the artist uses a natural material derived from kombucha culture that mimics human skin, combined with the drypoint technique, where graphics are scratched into the surface.
Drawing functions as a diary, capturing the artist’s emotional state over the course of a month. She creates these graphics during moments of heightened vulnerability, layering them to explore her own sensitivity — her thin-skinned nature, both emotionally and physically.
